I was lied to about every single aspect of this hunt. Beds, "chef", sheets..... The intentional use of the word "chef" was odd because it was just a old couple that fed us out of a single pot of refried beans the entire week. I overheard Nick talking to some about next year's hunt, same place same week. Everyone in the group was going to come back but Nick chimed in, "well, at least the cool people will be coming back." I know my entire deer made it to camp. I don't know where parts of my deer went but they didn't make it home with me. The hides, I know what happened to them. The last night Dylan had a few too many and thus overslept the next morning missing breakfast and packing of the trucks. We had to wait while hung over Dylan picked ticks off the hides. We all sat there staring at him while he did this because we were all packed to go. The exercise was useless as all the hides in the hunt were confiscated. I was told there would be horses yet I was force marched up 1200 foot slope and then bitched at for removing clothing because I was hot.
