I would highly recommend Ken Moody Safaris to anyone looking to do an African plains game hunt. Ken's communication before the hunt, during the hunt, and after the hunt is very clear and accurate. Everything throughout the trip met or exceeded my expectations. Out of 10 days of hunting I shot 9 animals with my bow(lost one), and my friend that hunted there also shot around the same amount. There was only one other hunter there for part of our trip, and he shot several nice trophy's as well. From what i have researched on bowsite and other places the trophy quality was great. Dinner and hanging out around the fire every night was a lot of fun. Ken, Virginia, Johnny, and Mournet were great to spend nearly 2 weeks with, as well as the other hunter in camp and all the staff. My friend and I had talked about going to africa for 6-8 years before booking in 2017. We were both glad we did it. It was a great experience.

We went in the early part of june. THe temperatures were not real hot, and there was a full moon part of the trip. We knew that would impact the amount of animal sightings, but this was the only time we could go. Cant miss elk season! We had a couple slow hunts, but there was good action most days.
