I sub lease a piece of ground from Spikes N Spurs outfitter and I went through the outfitter service last year. The weather was great last year and the rut was on and all three of the guys in our group killed great bucks. The previous guy that wrote a report on here says that Spikes n Spurs do not do their scouting, that is a lie. These guys do their homework, they work all year long scouting and hanging stands to put their hunters in the best possible spot to get the opportunity at a great buck. I was at the farm I sub lease from spikes n Spurs the same time the previous guy was in camp. The weather was the worst it could have possibly been and the moon was wrong, bucks were locked down. That’s hunting it’s not the outfitters fault that the conditions just were not right. We killed 2 bucks in a week one being a 160 inch 12 point and was the first buck we saw all week. I highly recommend spikes n Spurs to anyone that is looking for a the buck of a lifetime. Travis Fleer and his guides know how to run a outfitter and know how to put you on great deer. Can’t blame an outfitter for the weather being wrong and bucks being locked down. I highly recommend this outfitter to anyone!
