This was my second time hunting with Kokosing River Outfitters and it was like returning to see old friends. Jeff and Amy Macdonald run a first class family orientated operation that is second to none. From arrival to departure you are treated like family and the attention to detail is unrivaled. Great stands, habitat, and the deer...Great guides who have an extensive knowledge of the deer you will be hunting as well land surrounding them. I was lucy enough to take my biggest buck to date on the first morning...a split brow 160" giant (by my standards anyway). I can't wait untill next year.

Weather Comments:
First snow of the season and the first true cold front as well. Morning temps started about 10 and warmed up to the low 20s. Winds were the major factor, they lacked consistency, often shifting throughout the day. The guideds did a great job moving hunters to keep it to their advantage.
