Second trip to NZ to hunt with Gerald again. My wife, brother in law and sister in law enjoyed the many activities in the area while we chased the stags. Claimed to have had more fun than me, but what do they know. The food and the pub were really outstanding. The scenery from the accommodations was postcard stuff. Although he caters to all, Gerald is a bow hunter at heart and knows his area. The quality of game kept me excited, but we had to hunt hard to take a great stag on the next to the last day. My whole experience was top notch.

I only mention the rain because they had an unusual storm which dumped one day. The other days were beautiful. Oh yeah. And the wind. Seemed to blow on the back of the neck at the wrong time on occasion! Normal mountain hunting.
