I do not recommend this outfitter

Let me preface by the review for hunting only as the lodge and kitchen staff were super nice, food was good. My guide was also a super guy. Thought twice about a review, but I would have appreciated honest reviews as well. This is a nice place with a tons of area to hunt. They have tons of tags and use almost all of em. To the point they are overhunting their common bait areas. Not uncommon to have 20 people in camp. If there are TV personalities there or good repeat clients you are probably in for a long week unless you’ll shoot a small deer 130 and below—-which you pay a fine for. Of course they’ll tell you it’s hunting and who knows what will show up, but those preference guys are hunting where pics of deer are. My three hunters with our guide saw 0 shooters the entire week while the other repeat clients in camp all tagged deer or passed shooter 140 inch deer waiting on a bigger one. The guides apparently don’t share areas so if there is no shooter deer in your area good luck. They’ll sit on deer for upcoming hunters each week as well. Check out the success photos---vast majority are tv related or multiple year repeat clients. Felt like they just wanted my money to make the lodge payment and keep the celebrity people happy. Brought it up with the owner——just bad luck I guess was the response I got. The week after my hunt again the same success stories---nice deer taken by people affiliated with tv or repeat clients.
