This was our 5th consecutive year hunting at Pennyrile Outfitters in Western Kentucky, and once again Dan & Nancy Kendall did not disappoint...
The hunting was just incredible this year with the rutting activity near its peak during our hunt! We saw lots of deer every sit, and the buck-to-doe ratio was incredible. One half-day morning sit, I saw 15 different bucks from one stand. My wife and I both took mature bucks, and 5 out of 6 hunters in camp took bucks with 100% shot opportunity for all... There were two bucks taken during our hunt that were in the high 150's to the low 160's that were both ancient deer.
With the combination of Dan's management strategies, and lots of returning experienced clients invested in passing young deer, the trophy quality and age structure is excellent at Pennyrile Outfitters. The private cabins offer all the comforts of home and are impeccably clean.
