I took my first mnt caribou with MMO. They did a first class job all the way through. The logistics were handled well and things went smooth. The amount and quality of game seen was beyond my expectations. Furthermore, you will see no one else. Strategies and stalks are not affected by other hunters. It is a fun way to hunt and not something that most of us can say we find in the lower 48. Ryan Hartling was my guide and he was a joy to hunt with. It was like I was hunting with a friend. He expected the hunter to hunt. You will not feel like you are just along for the ride. I suppose if you wanted that he would accommodate but I did not. Everything was first rate. The only reason I did not rate the food higher is because it is a backpack hunt and the food is what it is. It is not intended to be gourmet or plentiful. however, if you happen to make it back to the base camp, the food there is first rate. We ate caribou, sheep and moose every night.
