Ray told me that he would only have 10 hunters in camp and he had 100,000 acres to hunt. The first morning my guide takes me to a river bottom that might have been 80 acres. We drove through it and then went around to the other side of the river and checked some cut hay fields. We were finished hunting a little after 8 am opening morning. An I was flabbergasted that we were finished for the morning. When I asked about the 100,000 acres Ray has leased they said most of it was only for elk hunting. So we pounded the river bottom numerous times and a couple of other spots that had already been hunted extensively. Also in between the morning and afternoon hunts at least half the guides would drink beer non stop until the afternoon hunt. Stay away from this guy he is just out to put your money in his bank.
