Mike Connett is class act outfitter and an even better man! I've been fortunate in my life to hunt great properties with outfitters in Ohio, North Dakota and Kentucky and had many great experiences and successful harvests. I will say I am going to be a lifelong customer with Wide Rack as long as I am able and Mike is in business! He is very honest about everything and is a very accomplished archery hunter himself (which should be very important to anyone shopping). He always hunted me in stands where the wind was correct according to where most of the deer should be coming from, and he really knows his property! I was fortunate enough in 3 evenings to see 4 different shooter bucks (over 135") and almost had a shot at a near 160!! I had a picture perfect shot at a beautiful 140" 10 point at 19 yards that Mike knew about and put me right on and unfortunately didn't see a small twig that Pushed my shot low. (Thank god it cleared the deer with no injury)
Weather plays a huge part on every hunt you go on regardless of the property but with a little bit of lucky weather, Mike will put you on big bucks as good as anyone!

Also, on the food rating, I actually cooked for myself (by choice) but Mike shared delicious Antelope burgers with me one night and I've heard his wife can cook up a storm!
