I have been going on a late season bow hunting trip with my brother-in-laws and close friends that I have been hunting with for a long time; there are typically 5-8 of us that go each year. We met Tad Ladd 2 years ago and were impressed with his commitment to not only the hunter but the animal's development throughout the year. Tad personally guided our group this year and made sure that the stand placement for that day matched the wind pattern for that day's forecast. The stands that we hunted out of were comfortable, safe, and were well thought out with respect to location, concealment, etc. The stands were well marked and had amenities (bow holders, equipment pegs, etc.) that were not typical of other locations we have hunted over the years. The onsite facilities were top notch (lodging, sleeping quarters, recreational space), food excellent, and company friendly. Tad Ladd and Craig Wyatt did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. Deer hunting: The property where were hunting was beautiful and the deer very abundant. Every hunt I personally saw lots of deer throughout the hunt. I was fortunate to have one of the coolest experiences on one of my hunts where I had an encounter with a 170" 10pt, 150" 8 point, 135" 8 point, and a handful of young but symmetrical 8's and 6's all at the same time....I have never been covered up with bucks like that ever. It really is difficult to express how much Tad Ladd does to make your hunt amazing. I highly recommend Tad personally as well as what he has created with Tad Ladd Kentucky Whitetails.....they are a VERY great outfit.
