My son and I searched for a hunting trip on line E mailed several Mark Clifford of Premier Outfitters answered us in a day. I spoke with him over the phone and he sounded good. I told him my son and I had never been on a guided hunt and didn't know what to expect. He explained there operation and how they hunted, so we booked our hunt. We arrived in camp it was clean and pretty much what you would expect a camp to look like. There about an hour and Mark came over to me and greeted me and welcomed my son and I to his camp. We met our guide Jimmy and he told us what time we had to be ready. He talked to us some and asked a few questions to sort of feel us out. I didn't mind his questions and if I was a guide I'd want to know a little about the man walking with me with a firearm. We had four men in our group he dropped them off at there stands and placed me in mine last. He explained the lay of the land to me and where he thought deer would come from. Day light came and I saw deer right away, between dawn and 10:30 saw 16 bucks 1 maybe shooter and 60+ does. Didn't see another deer till 2:30 at 2:45 my shooter buck came from right where Jimmy told me and I made the shot 217 yds. Called Jimmy and he came within a half hour to help me with my buck. I'm 69 years old and have been hunting since I was 14 and I shot my biggest buck with Mark Clifford's Premier Outfitters. My son also shot his biggest buck ever. Our guide Jimmy had four guys all his guys shot bucks he was very knowledgeable and friendly can't say enough about him a nice guy. My son and I never quartered a deer and he helped us on both deer. I would recommend Premier Outfitter's but I would want Jimmy as my guide.
