Had a great experience at this bear camp. Both Ron and Jeannine Dare are excellent hosts. Ron and his guides are very knowledgeable and experienced. Six people in camp and five hunters this week, all five with shot opportunities. 4 bears made it into the coolers, the 5th bear, my bear is still in the woods running around.(.. at least I was reassured that by both my guide and Ron) Unfortunately my shot placement created only a flesh wound. I'm reliving that moment daily. Pat was guide to both myself and brother. His effort and degree of professionalism in creating bear encounters is one of many reasons why we are going back to this camp ...if they'll take us.
