I invited a first time bear hunter to come hunting with me and the husbands ended up coming along too. I had my friend pick the outfitter from a list of bowsite sponsors based on feedback, logistics, costs, accommodations etc. and she picked Bear Track. We were not disappointed! Ron runs a very bowhunter friendly operation. The accommodations were superb with cabins and ammenities. We flew and were picked up from the airport by guide Kevin, seamless, even after a six hour delay in our flight. I have to say that Jeannine is the RockStar in camp! Wow, the meals were fabulous and healthy and never left you feeling hungry. I tried to get her to leave Ron and come home with us! It didn't work out unfortunately.
Pat was my guide, we spent a lot of time driving to/fro in pick up and 4 wheeler to bait and hunt. What a super guy, thoroughly enjoyed my time with him and he always put the client first from what I saw, except the one day when he parked really close to the edge of the road and I was going for my pack and oops took a step backwards and toppled over sliding down the ditch almost reaching the water. He came running when he saw me sprawled out like a upside down turtle. He was ever so polite later that evening on the drive home while laughing about it and earning my name of The Ballerina. (Trust me I am not a Ballerina :)).
It was a fun trip, lots and lots of laughs, good people in camp. Very woman and family friendly outfitter. They have a great system with the baits, set up etc.. Everyone filled their tags and left happy!!
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
One really windy day, started out extremely hot and then colder on the last day
