This was my 3rd Bear hunt with Adrenaline, and my second in the West Camp near Riding Mountain. In total I saw 30 bears over the course of 5 hunts. My goal for the hunt was to shoot a P&Y bear. Color phase would be icing on the cake, but I would not pass on a P&Y black. Rod had 3 different bears on camera (recent photos, in daylight) that I was focused on for the majority of the hunt. One was an absolute giant, based on the photos and sign he was probably 7' tall. He was a tank, I saw the pics and the sign. The other was a black and then a a cinnamon bear. Well as luck would have it 3 of my hunts were ruined by 180 degree wind changes. If I wanted to shoot a 5-5.5' bear I could have done so. The camp is very comfortable and the food is excellent. Rod is an excellent guide and pays close attention to the wind. There are plenty of baits to choose from for different wind directions. He has cameras on most of the baits and was able to show me pictures of the individual bears I was hunting. I feel like I really got screwed by the weather on this hunt, more so than what one could expect. As mentioned on 3 of my hunts the wind changed 180 degrees. And on the last night it poured down rain and thunder-stormed for the last 90 minutes of the hunt, right at prime hunting. I stayed in the stand anyway, but unfortunately it didn't clear off like I was hoping for. For sure I would recommend them for a good bear hunt.
