I recommend this outfitter

This was my first outfitted hunt that I have ever taken so I dont have a lot to compare to. However several of the guys I shared camp with, had hunted with other outfitters in the past and they seemed very satisfied with there overall experience. My overall experience was very good with premier outfitters. The lodge I stayed in was comfortable and housed the 9 other hunters well. The food was great Raechel the cook made excellent meals every evening that hit the spot after a long day of hunting. Myself and my buddy Sam hunted on a 550 acre farm about 35 minutes away from our lodge in Trigg Cty Ky.We had the whole farm to ourselves for four days. Our guide Daniel was really helpful in helping us get on deer and meeting our needs as we hunted. It took us a day or two to get the deer patterned in order to get into bow range because the farm we hunted on was a new farm and we were the first to hunt it for the year. Daniel had not been on the farm a bunch either so we all had a day or two of trying to get a handle on the place and deer movement. On day 3 I changed stand locations to the opposite end of the farm and found deer heaven.Day 4 flesh wounded a 150"+ buck at 17yds.They done there job and then some. I just did'nt make the shot when it was crunch time. The week that I was at premier outfitters 90% of the guys i stayed with had either a kill, a wounded animal,a clean miss, or just passed altogether.I would recommend premier outfitters to anyone especially "rut" hunts. Like any review you have to add some form of constructive criticism. If I had one thing to change it would be your check in time which is at 5pm the day b4 your hunt. I wish we could have checked in at noon or so and got with the guides assigned to each group of hunters and he drove your group out to the farm you would be hunting. For me and my buddy Sam we had a whole farm to choose from with 8 different lock on stands, plus we had brought climbers.I just did not like going in completely blind the first day. With that small complaint out of the way, we both had shots at quality deer around 150 and neither one of us brought a whitetail back to West Virginia to show off. They cant kill the deer for ya.
