This was my fourth hunt with Wide Rack Outfitters and once again Mike Connett managed to exceed my expectations. Even though I didn't take an animal on this hunt I saw plenty of nice bucks but I was holding out for a bigger buck than the one I shot last year. As with every other hunt the food was excellent and the new hunting lodge was extremely comfortable. Mike had been sending trail cam pictures for several months before the hunt of a few giant bucks living on his property that would easily score in the 170's. I cant wait to see what they will look like next year.I'll be back to wide rack this spring for turkey which seemed to be behind every tree on this hunt. Thanks again Mike!
Michael, Thank you. You are an Outfitter's Dream when it comes to hard hunting serious bowhunting clients. It is always a pleasure to host you here at the Wide Rack. You are right aboout next year. We should have some serious antler on the Wide Rack next season. But that is why we "try" to maintain the 120 minimum on our bucks. No minimum on length of the turkey beards this coming Spring.
