This was my first bowhunt in South Africa, but I've hunted all over the US, Canada and Mexico. Limcroma exceeded my expectations. I've never been able to say that about any other outfitter. They take care of every detail from the time you land in SA until the time you leave. I researched safaris companies for months before contacting Limcroma. When I sent an email to Hannes Els, he responded with much more information than I asked for. He was also quick to respond to my subsequent emails. This quickly set Limcroma apart from the rest of the pack. You never really know how a hunt will turn out until the money has been paid and you show up. After the first day in camp, I knew that this was truly the hunt of a lifetime.

I booked a 10 day bowhunt and wished I had booked more days. The time flew by. Every second of every day was action packed. On the last day as we were headed to the airport, I already thinking of Trip #2. My PH, Gideon, was also a passionate bowhunter. He understood the game and added so much more to my hunt. It wasn't just a job to him, he lives bowhunting.

Limcroma takes gun hunters and bowhunters, but does not mix the two. They have gun only or bow only concessions. The hides are set-up with bowhunting in mind. I shot 11 animals on a 10 day hunt. The hardest part of a hunt with Limcroma is knowing when it's time to stop shooting!

The accomodations, food, service and attention to detail was excellent. Simply put, this was the best hunting trip I've ever been on.
