My hunt with Babine Guides was the exact adventure that I was looking for. In a matter of three hunting days we saw over 60 goats, 4 wolves, 3 black bears, many upland birds and the most beautiful country I've ever stepped foot in. Then after the hunt I was treated to unbelievable Sockeye and Rainbow fishing for <$90. The food was fantastic, thanks to Crystal, Marilyn and Robin, all exceptional cooks.
If it wasn't for some technical bow problems, (fyi:never donate your old bow to a friend, use it as a backup) I think we could've got my goat on the first morning if we wanted to. Very friendly terrain for archery tackle.
Get in the best shape you can cause those mountains will beat you down. I did Insanity for 4 months, very little running and just hiked around with my pack on every weekend for a few hours and thought I handled them ok.
