Mike Connett and his wife Elena are top notch and run a fantastic hunt camp. Mike knows his deer heard and works tirelessly to make sure you have everything you need to harvest the deer of your dreams. Elena is the camp cook and the meals are great, and you never leave the table hungry or looking for more. I have been hunting with the Connetts for years and they have become great friends. When you arrive at the Wide Rack and look at all of the trail cam pics and discuss the hunting at camp and your possibilities for where you may be hunting you can't wait to get to your stand, which are numerous throughout Mikes property. I highly recommend the Wide Rack to anyone looking to harvest the buck of their dreams.
Wow! Kurt you humble us with yor comments. It is a pleasure every year to help Kurt take another buck of his dreams. Even more enjoyable is spending time with a fellow archery hunter who takes the sport seriously but also knows it is about having a good time around camp as well. The first day of my hunt it was warm and very windy but the deer were still on their feet. The next two days there was a steady heavy rain and ten minutes after the rain stopped on day three I had two does come by my stand and two minutes later a beautiful buck came past looking for the doe and offere me a broadside shot. The forth and fifth day the weather cleared and turned cold and numerous shooter bucks were seen by other hunters
