This was my third time bowhunting cape buffalo and by far this hunt was in a whole different league. Dries Visser made my dream come true twice now, first with leopard and now with cape buffalo! This hunt took place in Mozambique in the swamps for WILD, FREE RANGING cape buffalo. No fences or fed buffalo here. We slept in tents and it was a physically and mentally draining as any alaskan hunt I've done. But it was by far my best. This bull was extremely old and quite a trophy. One shot, he went 70 yards laid down and died. I can't say enough good things about this hunt. Simply a memory of a lifetime.
