8:10 AM, a hit was made on a slightly quartering away doe at 15 yards underneath an apple tree. The hit was perfect, height wise, but may have been a bit far back - (arrow was seen in good exit position). It was a pass-through shot but the doe left with the arrow. I immediately lost all sight and sound of her (see picture and map). I am now faced with my first decision, how long to wait before tracking?
