Okla. has done a great job with their deer herd. We had a record year for big bucks. Limit yourself to one buck a year, see what happens. Manage the habitat to grow deer. Shoot more does.
I did not guess.
I enjoy coming back to OK and hunting. I hunt mostly private these days. One buck limit would probably be a good thing. But it is nice to get to keep hunting if you shoot one early.
Saw lots of animals in the woods this year, but numbers are still down from a few years ago. To many doe days open to rifle hunting has really decrease the overall number of deer in our area.
Our state has become like most any of the others. The sale of licenses, tags, and the taxes for hunting equipment has become the boss. I money making business.

Bucks to does about a 1-1
Decent year, lots of camera pics of bucks but less day time rut activity than past years. However a grass fire burned the thick timber areas on the mainly open property i hunt in the summer.

Need to reduce days of rifle season and or make it after rut. State more worried bout the dollar more than the deer heard!!!!
Oklahoma has a good heard and I feel like it is managed well.

I didn't see many good bucks this season, but did see alot of deer.

Way to many hunters and way to long and to many gun seasons.
I have never seen the quantity of mature buck trail cam pictures and actual deer harvest pics as I have seen in our area. It has been steadily increasing for several years now.
A great state to hunt in
To many days of gun season, youth season that needs to go back to does only and the holiday season.

Mature buck sightings are down slightly but better bucks were observed.
no doe harvest on wma's

overcrowded I think they're poaching out of season too.
Should be 1 buck per hunter. Shorter gun season.
Need to be a one buck state. Gun season should be 9 days. Quality seen, could've been contributed to very warm weather during rut.

Have hunted there for 10 years and every year the hunt is awesome. Always have a chance at a P&Y buck. Lots of deer and plenty of venison brought home with some wild pork.

Way to many does being killed. The max should be 2 not 6. Should go to 1 buck, not 2. Oklahoma has some tremendous genetics if allowed to grow to full potential. Gun season should go back to 9 days.
The antler growth this year was good, herd health excellent, and deer numbers as high as I've ever seen. Our state deer management plan is more based on giving hunters the most opportunity.

This has been my worst season in 5 years on Logan Co. The does are being killed out at a rate faster than they can be replaced. Worst season ever and the numbers will show it
