I'm guessing based on the deers faces. #1 has a well defined Roman nose and large diameter antler bases. #2 has a stubby nose and slopped forehead. Young looking face.

I think buck#1 is just past it's prime but still a really great buck. Big body and neck straight in to the body. Buck#2 is a good buck but I think it could Be younger based on body size and rump

1st buck follows the Hansen buck aging. they grow big in Canada quickly. #2 had to grow over more time to have a rack like that. NY isn't know for good genetics and his body is filled out well.
