Ive been looking a hunt for years and had a friend recomend whiskey ridge hunts.i talked to Tommy Nails for 2 years while building points up for drawing.he was very patient and answered all my questions and DID NOT TRY TO PUSH HIS HUNT ON ME.i took that as respect.he told me what all to look for in the hunt and sent trail cam pics over the time while waiting for being drawn.after i was drawn i kept calling and messaging time to time for what i needed and what he reomended.got to camp which is very nice talked and waited for next day get there to start the hunt he carried me to my spot and told where most deer would be coming from.on my second day hunting i didnt feel well.he was concerned about me and kept eye on me.finally got better next day.hunted again saw sevwral deer but no shooters.the very next morning had a buck come in by surprise i saw 1 side figured was a shooter.should have looked better.i shot the deer to my demise it was a 129 inch buck.Tommy has a minimum of 140 and is $100.00 inch below the cut i knew this prior.i was happy with my deer but disappointed in myself not judging better.i paid my fine with no arguement because i was in the wrong.Tommy is a very nice guy and will do his best get you on big deer.i recomend him to anyone.and stands are very comfortable.
