A friend and I scheduled to hunt 1x1 guided. After driving 2 days to New Mexico we got to camp and found that Ray did not have enough guides, sent us out 2x1. We would not have booked if we were going to hunt 1x1. Ray gave us the difference in cost between 2x1 and 1x1 in a refund. He did not talk to either of us again and I don't wish to talk to him again. The guide we were assigned, was supposed to hunt with another guy that had made that request a year before, he was a retuning client.
A great hunting area, good guides, just very poorly run. It seems that Ray has checked out as a manager.
