Hunter Comments
I recommend this outfitter

Although I hadn't seen any recent reviews for Wyoming Professional Hunters, all the older reviews were good except for one. I put a deposit down for WPH last year, and waited for the hunt. I was not disappointed. Antelope were everywhere on the 65K acre ranch. Bo has exclusive rights to this ranch, so there is plenty of ground for finding a good buck. I had a buck and 2 doe tags. Yes, I realize this is "Bowsite", but I used a rifle. I'm working on my bucket list, so this was a one and done for me. Bo said one issue they have is that many hunters want to shoot the first buck they see. My guide (Randy) questioned me on the drive out of camp the first morning. He wanted to know exactly what I was looking for. I told him a good, quality, representation of a pronghorn. Didn't have to be a Booner. He said antelope are hard to judge, and I told him I would rely on his expertise. He knew what he was doing. He explained that a high scoring antelope would have height, curl, long cutters, and mass. Although Bo had said many hunters want to shoot too soon on a smaller buck, we only put a closer eye on a few. Smaller bucks were everywhere. Randy watched one buck through the scope for awhile, but then decided to pass. It had 3 of the criteria, but not the mass he was looking for. Then we found a buck that was a no doubter. I shot him at 9:15 the first day. One the way back to camp, I filled one of the doe tags. Randy quartered them out, and we (my non-hunting son-in-law and I) deboned everything. We had some lunch, then went back out at 2:30. We were back at 3:30 with the 2nd doe. As I said, antelope were everywhere. We saw over 1,000 animals in the one day we hunted. The other 4 hunters in camp filled all tags also, including a mule deer buck tag. 5 hunters shot 5 pronghorn bucks, 4 pronghorn does, and 1 mule deer in 2 days. I highly recommend this outfitter.
