This was my first pronghorn hunt. 6 of us hunted with Jason. We arrived plenty early before we were supposed to meet with Jason and spent that time driving around the area watching all the antelope. Once we met Jason he took us up to the cabin we stayed in. The cabin was up in the mountains with a beautiful view of Spanish peaks. It was more than comfortable with plenty of room for 6. On the way to the blind the first morning we had to put the trucks in 4 wheel drive as a pop up storm had gone through. Nothing was interested in drinking from a tank that day but enjoyed the sit since there was always antelope around to glass. Second day I had a couple visit my tank a doe and a smaller buck. Had to end the hunt early that day when the wind began blowing harder than the blinds could handle. The third day was the day. 3 hunters scored and I blew two opportunities on nice goats. Fourth and final day had close calls but no luck. I was worried about sitting in a blind all day in the heat but days went surprisingly fast as there was always something to watch. Everyone had opportunities on this hunt and we were all happy with the hunt successful or not. Jason is a great guy and I hope to have the opportunity to hunt with him again.
