Jason, Austin, and Mom (Stacy) gave me one of the absolutely best experiences I have ever had. From the very beginning when I contacted Jason, he was very responsive and answered all my questions. As soon as we arrived we were greeted like extended family members. We were shown our rooms, which are located in Jason’s home. The accommodations are clean and probably better than any other outfitter at this price point. Listen, any man that opens his home to strangers is a man this world needs more of. That’s why I use the word experience. Because it was much more than just a hunt. Jason is a deer whisperer who has tremendous knowledge on deer habitat and how to give a person the best possible opportunity at a first class whitetail. The property has extremely low pressure because Jason only has 5-6 hunters per week; it’s not a hunt mill! He takes time every night to carefully select stand locations that play the wind and put you where the deer are. I had a total of 8 sits! I saw deer every sit except 1. That’s a hell of percentage. It makes it easy to sit when you are seeing deer. I could go on for days about Hero Shot. The bottom line is it’s an A+++ outfitter and I am already looking forward to next year.
