I Have hunted whitetails with seven J several times before, this is my first time elk hunting. I have been successful every time. Kirby call a nice 6x6 the first morning, the wind gave us away right before I got a shot. That afternoon after a long hike to get the wind right we started calling. Within a minute we had a screaming bull on top of us. The afternoon hunt lasted less than a minute. My buddy tagged out two days later after moving from the ranch he was on that had few elk to the one I was hunting which had many. This is a first class operation.
This particular customer is a class act as well. Good Hunter - Good Shooter Weather, skill and luck all play a part when the opportunities present themselves. Having a hunter that can seal the deal on an archery elk hunt, when it is presented is key to success as well.
