Second hunt with Alan,What great hunt and and even better people to hunt with
The hunt is physically demanding and I would only recommend it to serious bowhunters. The guides are hardcore elk hunters and they are experts in their field.
Everyone in camp was into elk daily
The camp chef this year was outstanding, from heated plates for dinner to avocado and pickled onions on you sandwich , totally unexpected
if you are looking for the opportunity to kill a quality bull elk on a backwoods adventure and are willing to put in the effort that it takes to get close enough to one of these critters to stick an arrow into him, then this is the hunt for you! It's intense, it's challenging both physically and mentally, it's exhausting, but in the end it is all worth it and i wouldn't want it any other way
Taking a trophy bull with a bow and arrow on public land, general tag, deep in the Montana wilderness is a damn hard thing to do. I'm very pleased with the efforts of Two Bears Outfitters and especially my guide, Rich, put in to help me pull it off on a 320+ bull this year
