I recommend this outfitter

This was my first pronghorn hunt, so I was starting fairly low on the learning curve. In all I enjoyed the hunt very much. I ended up taking 2 very nice pronghorn-one from a blind and one by spot and stalk.

I did not particularly care for sitting in a blind all day. Just a personal preference not a complaint. I took both animials on the 4th day of the hunt after watching that were out of bow range on all previous days. Cover was sparse and the animals seemed a little spooked by the blinds and most stayed 75 yds or more from the blinds. A more natural setup was not impossible and may have allowed me to move to where the animals were moving as well as being able to see a little better-blind spots.

The spot and stalk was fairly exciting, but didn't last long. Guess we planned it too well. The blind shot was fairly exciting too. When it happened, it happened fast. You had to remain alert and ready at all times. After sitting for hours waiting and watching for a shot to develop, I found that somewhat difficult.

I have never been in a place that had this much game. Antelope were everywhere-literally in the hundreds. No one should have been and no onw was at a loss for an opportunity. Whitetail and mule deer were plentiful and everywhere as well. We even saw a few elk.

The outfitter is located just outside of Buffalo. The care of the meat and trophy were outstanding. The meat was ready, packed and frozen in appropriate containers for the airlines. The taxidermist was first rate, and I left the capes there for mounting.

The only thing that I was not ready for was the amount of cash I needed. I only took enough cash for personal use and tips. The processer and Wy Fish and Game did not take credit or debit cards. I could have used a check, but I did not bring a checkbook. Fortunately, there were ATMs.

This is a very well run and organized outfitter. The lodging and accomodations were spacious and comfortable. The food was good. The guides and the outfitter are all bowhunters and know how to get the job done. I would highly recommend this outfitter.

Weather Comments:
Light rain on part of the 2nd day of the hunt. I did not appear to affect animal movement. Temperatures started with 45-60 and ended in the 70s. I thought that was cool, but I'm from Florida. The temperatures did not appear to affect animal movement either.
