Great hunt. Have hunted with CK the past two years (2017/2018) and have been very fortunate to have taken back to back 150 class deer. Kenny (owner) is great host, and is as genuine a guy as you will find. The number of farms CK has under management is incredible...you can drive for days and not fully see all his ground. Each section you drive seems to surpass the previous. The great benefit of the amount of property is you are virtually always alone, are rarely on ground that has been hunted by previous clients, and the management philosophy allows you to shoot any class animal that would be your personal best. CK has enough ground to simply ‘back off’ a farm after a specific number of deer have been harvested, regardless of size. Period. The philosophy is refreshing coming from hunting the upper Midwest...stress free. It is whitetail hunting to be sure, you will work, but my personal experience has included some really quality animals. Expect to have days when you are covered with deer, and an occasional day when you struggle to see one. Again, it’s hunting. In two years hunting with CK with 8 guys each season, the number of hunters that have encountered a shooter class deer has been > 75%. Accommodations and food are excellent, and again, Kenny is simply one of the most genuine and hard working people you will encounter in any walk of life. Headed back in 2019....
