Hunter Comments

My guide Eric was great all week and pushed hard to find elk. Main lodge was nice, food was ok. Compared to other elk hunts I have been on there is a very low population of elk in his area. This is just an outfitter moving as many hunters thru camp for the money. The 3 elk killed were very small 5x5. Wouldn't recommend spending hard earned money with this outfitter.

I am disappointed Steve did not let us know he was not satisfied as Steve left an evaluation form indicating he thoroughly enjoyed his hunt even though he did not harvest. I tried to reach out to Steve and was not successful, although I did contact his hunting partner that did not agree with Steve's Review and did not understand why he would feel that way. We harvest four bulls that week, wounded 2 huge six points, missed other shots on other bulls and came to full draw with other clients in camp. Steve was into bulls all but two days of his hunt and even had six bulls going at one time. I know Steve hunted hard for his age as I talked to the guide and looked over his guide diary. I cannot control the animals or the weather but I can promise to have great guides and hunt extremely hard for each client. I feel the only way I would have met Steve's expectation is if he would have been one of the four guys that harvested a bull that week. I tell every client in camp to let us know if they are not happy with how the hunt is going during the hunt so we can change things up and make the experience better during the hunt. Steve did not let anyone know he was not enjoying himself as he even scored the hunt high on all categories on his evaluation.
