I consider Whitetail Heaven a sham. Worst organized check in procedure imaginable. Had me sit over a corn pile that had fermented (was black) and I could find zero deer sign around my stand. 40 yards in front of me was a ground blind and I was in the trees. There is no way that any true deer hunter would have placed a stand there. An ATV drove within 15 yards of my stand seven times during the first day of sitting. This was someone else's property with the trail running by my stand. My guide never returned my texts complaining about the ATV (he said his phone broke). I was sitting within 200 yards of the next hunter and I could see them. My buddy could not sit in his box stand as an animal had died in it and between the stench of death and the flies it made it uninhabitable. (Whitetail Heaven said they can't control everything in response to this!) Another hunter on the same property had a party going on in the house he backed up to. A man actually came and peed 5 yards from his tree stand. We were all crammed in there and the concept of keeping the pressure low on the deer was thrown out the window just like our chances of even seeing a deer. Not a single person in our 5 man group saw a deer this first day. Not one deer. They appear to have taken a good thing and decided to make it as large (profitable?) as possible. This means having a person in every stand; no matter how close they are together or what the wind is. (They even told us that the wind would not be right for everyone and this should have been a clue.) I imagine that as they take reservations, they simply buy another tree stand and put it between existing ones. I consider what they do to be akin to the carnival: bright lights (pictures of big deer) and fast talking designed to separate you from your hard earned money. Having observed them, it would not surprise me if some of the reviews on the internet are from themselves. I do not trust them at all. I expressed that I had paid for four days of hunting and that they owed me for the first day. There was zero chance of a deer coming to where any of us on that property were. I told them that I would sit somewhere else and if I shot a deer, no repayment for the first day would be needed. They would not agree to what I still consider a very reasonable offer. Their website claims to have an "A+" rating from the Better Business Bureau; it is in fact a "C." Save yourself some problems and do not use Whitetail Heaven.
