Hunter Comments

This was my second attempt at hunting a moose with my bow in Alberta and the difference between Ryk's operation and my first hunt was night and day. Ryk's hunt is a bowhunter's dream and the other was a rifle outfitter offering bowhunts...huge difference! The weather was perfect during my hunt and the three camps combined ended up going 7 for 10 on bull moose. Of the three that didn't get moose, there were at least 5 shots fired that I know of and many other chances. I can't believe the camp wasn't 100% as the moose density in Ryk's unit is incredibly high. This is a once in a lifetime type hunt for me, but I'm already trying to figure a way to return for another hunt!
