I booked a couple of hunts with Hadley Creek last year despite some of the negative reviews. I'm fairly new to deer hunting and had never been on an outfitted hunt. Their lodges are nice and they seem to have a lot of property. I wasn't able to fill a tag but I saw deer on every sit so I decided to book a couple more trips for this season. A gentleman I met at my local bow shop recently informed me that Hadley Creek had been cited for baiting fields during the 2017 season so I sent Hadley Creek an email and told them that I didn't want to be associated with that and to please refund all my money for the 2018 hunts. They never responded so I sent another email stating that if I didn't hear anything in the next week that I would turn it over to my lawyer. Stacy Ward called on the last day and tried to explain what had happened. He said they put out trophy rocks in order to get trail cam pics even though he knows that's illegal. "Everyone does it" he said but the game wardens are out to get them. Either way, I told him that I still wanted a refund. Needless to say I have not heard from them or seen my money. My lawyer also sent them an email along with a letter via certified mail and still no response. They have never been the most customer friendly people but it is obvious they are in this just for the money. It's amazing to me that they would just keep the money. They have not provided any services up to this point so it's not like they are out any money. Crooks as far as I'm concerned. Please inform anyone and everyone that may be interested in hunting with these guys.
