If you are looking to hunt in Kentucky def hunt with TadLadd Western Kentucky outfitters. Everything is top notch and exceeded my expectations and my hunting partner expectations and we have hunted all over in many states. From the moment we arrived until the end we were never disappointed. The knowledge that Tad Ladd and his guides have regarding there deer was impressive. You can tell this is a year round operation and not a seasonal outfit based on there knowledge. They knew there deer movements, travel routes, etc.. The tree stand placement was by far the best and again exceeded our expectations. From the comfort of using X-Stands through the placement of the stands to be in the right location on each set. Everything was trimmed properly leaving just enough coverage to disrupt our Silhouette and still a clear shooting lane. The hunting is just top notch. From the Bad Boy Buggies (to be able to be stealth taking us to and from the stands) to the UTV 6 seaters for alittle more power they had it all. I personally after looking at trail cam images with Tad decided to hunt this one mature buck at least 170 class and unfortunately did not have an opportunity I passed on many other nice bucks. I was very happy with my decision to hunt and focus on one mature buck. My hunting partner had two mature bucks in two different locations during our trip. The first one picked him up as he drew back and the other he took a shot and simply missed. The action was there and the bucks are there. You just simply can't hide hard work and thats what Tad Ladd Western Kentucky whitetails is all about. Besides the hunting which is why we are all there the lodge is amazing. The cabins were clean and scent free. We take our scent cover and scent very important so this was important to us. Every amenity was there for us and if we forgot something they had it. To see an outfit be on point in all phases and aspects was incredible. We had our own bathrooms, own kitchenette, and our own washer and dryer. I just couldn't believe the attention to detail. Last was the food. From the breakfast,lunch, and dinner we were not disappointed. There was always food and something good being cooked up. If you wanted to bring lunch or snacks in the woods for an all day sit they had it all prepared already including a bottle of water lol. NOTHING is missed with Tad Ladd. Everything blew us away. If your hunting in Kentucky you must Hunt with Tad. Not only did we have an amazing time and have a fun hunt we walked away with knew friends and thats a plus for us. We already rebooked for 2018 if you are reading this review we hope to see you there in '18
