I recommend this outfitter

First off, although this ranch in Texas is still pretty new, the outfitters/owner are seasoned veterans in the game. The owner also runs Montana Whitetails, and a quick search of that outfit and you'll see from all the praise the kind of operation they run. In just 2 years at the Texas operation they've made a definite impact on the properties deer herd. In my 3 days I saw numerous P&Y class bucks and many within bow range. After passing up some opportunities on other good deer, I finally harvested a beautiful 8 pt with 11 inch G 2's. My hunt was also unique because I brought my wife along. We spent the week prior bumping around Texas. I knew we were going to be the only 2 in camp that week and with the wrong guide it could've been an awkward time. But Steve was great with us and made us both feel at home. He also studied game cameras and wind conditions each night to put me in the right spots each day. They had stands/blinds for every condition or senario and really understand and cater to the bowhunter. These guys are super careful about not over hunting any areas on the property and go to great lengths to not over pressure any of the animals. Speaking of animals, this is a year round operation for exotics and they have tons of free range/ wild exotics like axis deer, Sika, blackbuck, sheep, rams and of course hogs and tons of beautiful Rio Grande turkey. I literally saw trophy class examples of pretty much all the named exotics while hunting. I hate giving the obligatory 5 star rating in every category but we really enjoyed the experience. Whether I harvested an animal or not my rating would've been just the same. Texas offers a unique style of hunting and some beautiful country. Definitely a relaxing trip.
