Third time hunting with Triple Three, but first time with new owner Phil Rutt since the passing of Craig Smith. Same well run operation by a man who wants you to succeed. Phil was already in the process of acquiring the operation from Craig prior to his passing, so this was in the works. Great guiding [I had Phil himself], but other guides were experienced and knew what it takes to get within realist bow range. Food was great, but elk hunting even better. Daily encounters, but usually just out of bow range for me...until day four when a 346incher gave me a 56 yd shot after getting out of a wallow. No reservations in recommended Triple Three for elk, deer, or antelope. I've went on all of those hunts and been successful on all.
