I do not recommend this outfitter

Bait and switch buyer beware, I have hunted with a lot of outfitters and I was very dissatisfied with this hunt, In all honesty I feel if we went to his advertised camp I would have been satisfied with the hunt. I'm not a hunter that has to kill to consider it a successful hunt but to read and follow Facebook posts on the food plots and beautiful amenities and deer cam pictures and then when you arrive your not hunting that camp at all!!! Myself my hunting partner Fran and the friend Jim (that recommended to hunt Premier) all were blind sided by this decision we were sent to a farm over a hour away(no food plots) and stayed in someones house... oh yea and the same premium price! There were 7 hunters, we all hunted the same farm and after 3 days I never saw a deer!!! My buddy Fran saw a couple does and a bunch of coyote and we never got out of the stand 5am to 5pm. We were moved and I saw 2 immature bucks in fact NO one of the seven guys saw a shooter all week. I spoke to Mark throughout the week via cell and texts he just said it was good last year, I also sent emails with no response. Just wish we were told before hand. I own a business and honesty is the best policy! Total for a hard week of hunting 2 small bucks seen Fran saw 4 doe for the week.

Was the outfitter notified of problems? - YES

Outfitter's Response
Disagree

Jim, So sorry you feel that way. No bait and switch with my operation at all. You spoke to me directly face to face the night you arrived in camp remember????? I do it was November 6 2015. The truth of the matter is you booked your hunt later than Jim, the hunter that has hunted with me along with his friend Rich a couple of times. When I first spoke with you early 2015 you told me you had met a guy that shoots in your archery league that had hunted with me and recommended my place. At no time did you say you wanted to share a lodge with him. if you would have and I had room what reason would I have not to lodge you with him?? When you called me back later in the year to book your hunt, again you never mentioned wanting to be lodged with Jim he was never mentioned again. By the time you booked that lodge was full and you were booked at my other lodge, that is not someone's house it is my other lodge that I have had for 4 years. And a very nice one at that. We Spoke about this the night you arrived in camp and I explained this to you then A YEAR AGO.... You did contact me by phone and asked to be moved to another farm because you were not happy with the deer movement on the farm you were on so you were moved. I never heard another word from you after that except from a text that you said thank you for the move. We Always try to make each and every one of our hunters happy and for the most part we do. We can't control the deer movement. I sure wish we could. The farm you hunted on and wanted to be moved from is a very productive farm. One of the hunters you hunted with on that farm hunted that same farm the previous year and harvested a 172. He did not see alot of action during the hunt last year but guess what, he has rebooked for this year and you couldnt pry him from that farm. There were not 7 of you hunting that farm there were 4. I dont feel that 4 bow hunters on a 1500 acre farm is too much. Again I am sorry you feel you had to try and discredit my business this way but being a business owner I know that you can not make everyone happy, as had as you try.
