Dean provided us we a great hunt at MVO. well organized, nice camp, excellent area. The guides were all personalble, hard working and Knowledgeable about the game in the area. Despite heavy winds all four hunters killed moose by Wednesday. I killed my bull bowhunting the first afternoon and was fortunate to hunt along with my guide ( Ivan ) with my father and his guide ( Jamie ) the next two days till my father tagged his bull( rifle kill). Both Ivan and Jamie were a pleasure to hunt with. The other two guides Dwane and Jason were also first rate. You couldn't go wrong with anyone of them. Dean was in touch with the camp daily and ensured we had anything needed. Wanda was excellent in the kitchen and showed us all the hospitality possible. I have no hesitation recommending MVO for someone looking for Newfoundland moose hunt.

high winds were keeping moose tight to cover however we were still able to be successful. I hoesnty believe we would have seen even more moose had the wind been calmer.
