I recommend this outfitter

I had an awesome time and was very impressed with what all there was to offer!

Pricing was very fair and reasonable.

I did not get to see a 180 class animal, but I am certain that one was around just from videos and pics seen proven in the same area that I recognized. There is no such thing as a hunter who gets to see that kind of quality on every hunt. There is no doubt in my mind that with enough time spend hunting Darrell and Diane's properties, a 180 class whitetail opportunity will present itself. The main reason I hunt at Rocky Branch is because I am aware of its potential. I am bad about not shooting when I should, so by hunting with the Hatford's I don't have to worry about being too picky. If I pass one, I know that there is a really good chance I might see a better one in an hours time. If someone is interested in a 140 class, the opportunity rate I would say is 90% or higher.

I hunted an area where I had 800 acres to my self that was a mixture of Oak-Hickory Hardwoods, Crop Land, Thick sapling thickit mixed with Sericea Lespedeza bordering the most beautiful food plot I have ever seen with plenty of ladino clover(which as far as I am concerned, is the best high tonnage plot crop there is as far as attraction). The property bordered a wetland swamp area that was full of buck brush (An extremely mature bucks paradise). The waterfowl was a pleasure to listen to and view during the hunt as well. Other wildlife viewed included Turkey, lots of upland game and a bobcat that was simply just stalking rabbits and not bothering the deer at all. Very enjoyable to watch. In 3 days, I conservatively seen 30 deer, at several different times throughout the 3 day hunt.

These folks find a lot of really nice sheds (one set I seen in particular over 200 inches) which tells anyone with common sense that these people are raising and managing these deer all year long and growing them to their greatest potential.

All the deer that I viewed looked extremely healthy. I know what I am talking about with that statement, because my Dad and I raised deer for 10 years before I went off to college. So I know when a whitetail is eating and living healthy.

Also, just to add, their Son (I wish I could remember his name) is the best cook I have ever been treated to. If you seen me, you would know I have not missed to many meals am I am a professional at putting down food. I know a good meal when I see one. The lodge is beautiful and very comfortable.

These folks do a lot for charity, and I was honored to just get to know them. Great Atmosphere to be around. I can't wait to make it back!
