Hunter Comments
I do not recommend this outfitter

There were 10 official hunters in the camp. None of us took a single shot at an elk. I never saw an elk and neither did most of the other hunters. Our guides would take us somewhere on horseback in the morning, and then do essentially nothing for the rest of the day until it was time to ride back to camp. No effort was made to help us find elk. There were more than 30 people in the camp at many times. Among these were children, friends of the outfitter, and a film crew that was shooting a hunting episode for a TV series. They had 2 hunters with them who were treated very differently from the rest of us. That is, they had multiple guides working aggressively to find them elk. At least one of them got her elk on the first day of her hunt. On the outfitter's website it says that no motor vehicles are permitted in the 250 sq. mile area that he hunts. In fact, lots of local people drive their trucks up the trails where we were hunting, set up camps, and hunt. We saw many such semi-road hunters every day. Finally, I have been on many hunts, but never have been on one where not a single hunter (out of 10), ever pulled the trigger.

Was the outfitter notified of problems? - NO
