This outfitter is a rip off all Tom is worried about is money the second we walked thru the door he demanded the other half of are fee for the trip so we paid him the carried all are luggage in as he stood and watched he showed us are room and it was filthy the bathrooms were gross looks like they haven't cleaned it ever!!! Tom was very rude and disrespectful spitting chew on the floor in the cabin and making jokes about the people in the camp! The first day we were there he went over the rules of everything and then began to tell us about all the Hoggs that were shot last week he was just blowing smoke up are ass when we talked to the other guides they all had different story's then they told us about a monster that was shot so we start questioning them about where it was shot and all 3 of them said a different place!! So the next day is the first day we get to hunt well they told us they had 3000 acres of land and they drop us off at are stands and 4 of us are no more then 150 yards apart so we sat hopeful but nothing showed up so we all climbed out of are stand to check the feeders and there was corn that was not touched and no pig tracks but last night Tom told us they have been seeing a lot of Hoggs there must be ghost hogs that leave no tracks! So are guide picks us up takes us back to the cabin where we all sit and chat for a bit with the owner Tom who is also are guide well he decides to tell us he is leaving for the week and Someone els is coming to guide us I did not like this at all he made us feel like he took are money and ran! So Tom leaves never to be seen again so the next day comes and the new guide gets there we all meet chat and him and the other guide have to go check baits well the do that and a few hours later they come back and tell us how tore up the field was we were sitting in lastnight was and it's weird how we didn't see anything there and the pigs must have come after we left so we were all disappointed with this so we figured he was going to put us all back there well no he didn't the took us to a swamp on some other pice of property where again we all sat on top of echother but as we were walking in we noticed 2 sets of foot prints and a trail of corn well come to find out the stands we were in they just baited a few hours before we got there and again no sign of pigs any where so as we are sitting there we see people walking thru the woods swimming in a pond 200 yards that we are shooting towards and I text the owner and the guide and the tell us there is nothing they can do and they just hope the ppl role leave soon well shortly after that the cops show up and the all start screaming and arguing and didn't leave till well more then halfway thru are hunt and Tom could care less he got are money and he was happy the other group that was there hunting felt the same way as we did about Cherokee run and they will also not be returning they cough tom and his guides lieing to them all the time they said everyone of them was told something different and cough them in lies multiple times ..... So for anyone interested in Cherokee run I do not recomend it all they do is go in the woods hang up a corn feeder and a stand and sit people there they do no scouting they do no prep work at all they are dishonest and only care about getting your money out of your hands the owner just texted me and said sorry and he will give us a discount on a future hunt when we come back well news flash we are not comeing back to your shitty rundown filthy outfit
