Chattaronga Safaris was my 3rd trip to South Africa. I found that the lodge was the nicest one yet I had stayed at although the others were very nice too. Food was excellent with an actual resident 4 year degree chef. Quality of the game was excellent and the guides were great with a excellent knowledge of both thier game and bowhunting. I would not hesitate an instant to recommend them to other bowhunters. My two buddies were on their first Safari and did great on Plains game. I also took a wonderful 40 inch Sable and new #13 with bow SCI Livingston Eland. Great trip and great outfitter.

Weather was about perfect. I think July is best time to bowhunt South Africa in the Limpopo region. August can get too windy and the animals lay low.
