Hunt was all I could ever ask for or expect and then some. Doug and his wife Julie provide an AMAZING BC experience. Doug's hounds are as good as it gets and LOVEABLE besides! Their cabins and home are comfortable, clean, and quiet, and Food was great as well. Doug's home is located in great spot for game rich/lynx hunt, and is one of most beautiful places I have ever been. Lynx is a specialty animal, and his hounds have it down to a science. I CANNOT imagine there is any better place in world for this animal or many others. I feel like I met GREAT friends in BC and would recommend this hunt to anyone WITHOUT reservation.

Weather Comments:
Having enough snow is normally the challenge on a cat hunt of most kinds. Lets just say that was "not a problem" this hunt. LOTS of snow! Doug's hounds chased my Lynx 5.5 miles in snow between knee and butt deep, thank GOD we did not have to walk anywhere neat that far to reach tree. Awesome Hounds! (note on conditioning, my hike was not bad at all, but should generally be in decent shape IMO)
