Joe came up a with a plan that allowed me to hunt while having my family of wife and 3 kids (6, 3, and 1) enjoy the adventure as well. I was into bull elk nearly every day I hunted, and although I did not recover the bull immediately, I killed a pope and young class bull on the third day with my bow. Consider the cost of someone from TN scouting an area in Montana prior to a hunt. The fee that I paid Joe saved me a ton of money and time, and he was extremely thoughtful of not only how to get me into elk but also how to make the trip enjoyable for my family. First class service. First class guy.
I remember your Bowsite thread that asked "Does anyone think I can fit some elk hunting in on a family vacation?" Some said no. Some felt you'd need more time dedicated specifically to hunting. Elk don't come easy. I have to admit when I found out the kids were 6, 3, and 1, I was a little concerned. Until I learned more about you and your wife. You have an awesome family David. I thought I had a pretty good scenario if you were interested so I hit the Private Reply button. And here we are! I was so excited when I heard you connected. Glad you got into bulls from day 1 to keep you motivated. After your hunt over in the Frank Church I knew you'd love the area and the amount of game there. When I heard the incredible itinerary you had for your vacation I knew those accommodations would fit like a glove. I'm glad everyone appreciated the little back country cabin. Not many people know about that place. Stay in touch and when you head back that way shoot me an email and let me know how things went for you. I appreciate you taking the time to post the review. YOU are the first class guy. Congratulations on an awesome bull!
