Camp was awful. Trash was every where and cook was poor only because there was not a lower option. They had done no scouting and did not have the camp set up before we arrived.
This was one of the worst camps I have ever been to and I go to alot. Marty 903-576-1951
Was the outfitter notified of problems? - YES
The camp was advertised as a wall tent camp, yet we built and provided a heated cabin instead. Camp was all set prior to hunters arrival with outhouse, hot shower, 2 guides and 1 cook for 3 hunters(booked as a 2 on 1, one hunter tagged out on second morning and remaining hunters were up graded to 1 on 1 hunt at no extra charge). Camp also included a bonus 3D archery range with full size moose, elk, deer, bear, wolf and more. Plenty of food was provided Rib eye steaks, lasagna, bbq chicken, hamburgers, eggs & bacon... Guide lives on the property and scouts year round. Hunter had numerous bull moose called in, including a few over 50". Despite every effort, you cant please everyone. Outfitters beware. Hunters get a second opinion. The next group in camp said "WOW this is more than I expected - Great Camp!" Todd Macomber 608-751-6010 and Dan Green 608-415-0561
Weather was perfect
