I had a blast here. Only thing I really can complain about is,...Illinois 3 day muzzle loader season goes way to fast!!!Food was awesome, very professional place. Hadley creek has a 140 minimum so, this is actually what attracted me to this outfitters. This is really the kind of outfitter Hadley creek is. They are serious about killing mature deer. A true trophy. i did have what i thought was a high 150s class 10 pointer the first morning. little far and through some brush. Just didn't get the shot i was after. I hunt New York state hard for a long time now. After I left Illinois, I came to the conclusion I saw more deer in 3 days than i have seen in 10 years in NY. This is for real. I am sure I saw at least 300 deer in the 3 days and we had one day the weather sucked. As far as the lodge,food, hospitality. It was all just awesome. I didn't go for that, I will be back late October next year. As far as i am concerned, This is a first rate outfit. And I think this is my best chance to get on true trophy whitetails. I will make a point to be there at least once a year.
